The LPD-801 is an electronic warfare (EW) cannon develop by Russia to blind the control systems of unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) and small drones. The system uses powerful jamming to disrupt WiFi, Bluetooth and spacecraft communications used to control the drones flying at high altitude. The LPD-801 EW system was first shown in 2021 and deployed successfully in Ukraine by the Russian Armed Forces starting in June 2022.

The LPD-802 is a new anti-drone, jamming gun system developed to neutralize satellite navigation channels used by Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs) and a longer endurance battery compared with the LPD-801. The LPD-802 model is smaller than its predecessor with the ability to operate in manual and automatic modes. The jamming un weighs 3.5 kilograms, can operate for about 60 minutes and has maximum effective range of 1.5 kilometers. The LPD-802 entered laboratory testing in October/November 2022 with the aim of fielding the new weapon in December 2022 or early 2023.
