The Russian Army Platform-M is a robotic ground vehicle developed by Progress Scientific Research Technological Institute and intended to carry out reconnaissance, patrol, cargo-carrying and combat missions. The tracked vehicle is equipped with Kalashnikov assault rifles and four grenade launchers to strike stationary and moving targets providing fire support and guard military facilities. The robotic system is operated remotely and took part in military drills within 2014. The Platform-M robotic system was unveiled in the Crimea Peninsula, Russia, in July 2015.
