The People's Liberation Army (PLA) YLC-2V is a mobile, high altitude surveillance radar developed independently by China to spot ballistic missiles and other high altitude/near space threats. The radar system can be operated remotely and has been integrated onto a wheeled platform providing for high mobility. The YLC-2V radar was unveiled at the China Air Show in November 2014. The YLC-2E is an S-band multifunctional radar was unveiled in April 2023.
