ELTA Will Supply 150 Airborne Radars from Contracts Worth $350 Million

ELTA Systems Ltd, an IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd) wholly owned subsidiary, is in process of manufacture and delivery of 150 airborne radar systems during 2007 from Contracts worth over USD350 million in order to meet multiple orders from customers worldwide.
ELTA manufactures multi-mode airborne radars for various applications such as:
Fire Control Radars for fighter aircraft
Maritime Surveillance Radars for maritime patrol aircraft, UAV’s and helicopters
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) targeting pods
Synthetic Aperture Radars for all-weather image intelligence systems
Modular hardware and software, and flexible avionic interfaces ensure that these radars can easily be installed and integrated into various airborne platforms. All have multi-mode capabilities, including air-to-air, air-to-ground, air-to-sea and imaging modes (SAR/ISAR/GMTI).
ELTA’s multi-mode airborne radar family has achieved international recognition by repeatedly delivering quality product in a timely manner. The radars are in service with many customers worldwide including the Israeli Air Force.
