During a special military operation, Russian cruise missiles, which are called "aircraft carrier killers", were used for precision strikes. The air defense systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could not intercept any of them.

The RIA Novosti agency , referring to the information of its source, spoke about the use of Kh-32 supersonic cruise missiles during a special operation in Ukraine.

The missiles that entered service with the Russian army in 2016 can be called new. The Russian Aerospace Forces has not even received the modernized Tu-22M3M bomber, for which the X-32 was developed. To be able to use these ammunition, several Tu-22M3 aircraft of the previous modification were specially converted.

During the special operation, Kh-32 missiles hit the military infrastructure of Ukraine repeatedly. In combat conditions, the ammunition confirmed its status as a precision weapon. In addition, not a single such missile of the Ukrainian air defense system could be intercepted.

The missile was designed to destroy surface ships and is capable of overcoming the air defense systems of aircraft carrier groups. The maximum speed of the ammunition is close to hypersonic, the missile can hit targets at a distance of 1000 kilometers. Combat use has shown that the Kh-32 can equally effectively destroy not only surface, but even small ground targets.
