Tajikistan Took Delivery of Two S-300 Air Defense System Divisions

Eight S-300 systems have already been delivered to Tajikistan. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with members of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The eight launchers are two divisions of the Russian S-300 air defense systems, the head of state explained. In general, Vladimir Putin emphasized , Russia is ready to continue and complete this work on the CSTO as a whole. The President recalled that the government must issue a corresponding order by the end of the year.

Vladimir Putin said that Russia has done a lot of work with the CSTO countries on the issue of forming a unified common air defense system.

The president also thanked the country's government for preparing for the visit of the leader of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to Russia . It ended on Wednesday and, Vladimir Putin emphasized, went at a good level.
