Russia Increases Production of Iskander-M Tactical Ballistic Missiles

Russia has launched large-scale production of missiles for the Iskander-M complex, this makes it possible to use it for massive strikes in the northwestern military zone.

"Iskander-M belongs to a class of weapons for which Russia has a huge advantage in production capacity compared to competitors in the West or East Asia," according to an article in Military Watch Magazine.

The authors of the material note that after the start of the SVO, the production of missiles for the complex increased several times. This allows Russian forces to use the Iskander for massive strikes without worrying about saving combat troops, journalists say.

“The Russian army has adopted a new strategy for striking Ukrainian positions using Iskander-M missile systems, which involves the simultaneous launch of several missiles at a designated target,” they report.

In addition, the scale of production allows the Russian side not only to replenish the consumption of missiles in the Northern Military District zone, but also to supply Iskanders abroad, the magazine emphasized.

Earlier, the Russian military hit an Iskander missile at the place where Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel were awarded in the Zaporozhye region. The enemy lost dozens of people killed and wounded.
