Russian military pilots will be massively trained in the use of “smart bombs.”

One of the training centers of the Aerospace Forces received a batch of Su-34 front-line bombers. On such planes, pilots strike targets in the NVO zone in Ukraine with FAB aerial bombs (250, 500 and 1500 kilograms).

Conventional high-explosive bombs are equipped with universal planning and correction modules. Using the wing and rudders, the module allows the bomb to adjust its flight path to the target and makes it highly accurate.

As an informed source told RIA Novosti , the increase in the number of pilots who can use this type of weaponry on Su-34 front-line bombers will make it possible to “increase strikes with smart bombs on Ukrainian military targets.”

The experience of conducting a special operation showed the high effectiveness of bombing with aerial bombs with UMPC. At a low cost, they cause significant damage to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, destroying concentrations of manpower, deployment points, fortifications, and command posts.

According to the Telegram channel Fighterbomber, the Su-34 is currently finalizing software that will allow it to launch strikes with “smart bombs” from all types of maneuvers.
