Kalashnikov Unveils Krona Short-Range Air Defense System to Counter Drones

Krona-E defends important state objects and urban infrastructure, as well as warehouses and strategic communication objects against medium-class drones

MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. The Kalashnikov Company said it would for the first time display Krona-E air defense system at IDEX 2025 show in Abu Dhabi.

"The Kalashnikov Concern for the first time demonstrates close-range Krona-E antiaircraft territorial defense missile complex at international IDEX 2025 arms show to be held on February 17-21 in Abu Dhabi," it said.

Krona-E defends important state objects and urban infrastructure, as well as warehouses and strategic communication objects against medium-class drones.

The complex comprises mobile detection and control vehicles or stationary combat modules united into a single system. It fires guided 9M340 and 9M333 missiles.
