Russian S-400 Air Defense System Shoots Down Ukrainian F-16 Fighter Jet in the Sumy Region

On Wednesday evening, March 19, information emerged about the destruction of an American F-16 fighter jet in service with the Ukrainian army.

According to the SHOT Telegram channel, the F-16 was shot down by air defense crews from the Belgorod Region Air Defense Forces near the city of Sumy.

"Ukrainian pilot dies in plane crash," the statement said.

It was specified that the plane was hit by a missile fired by an S-400 anti-aircraft missile system.

It should be noted that this information has not yet been confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
