Russian Aerospace Forces Tu-160M2 Bomber to Enter Service within 2025

The Russian Aerospace Forces will receive modernized Tu-160M missile carriers in 2025, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced at a meeting with graduates of military universities in the St. George Hall of the Moscow Kremlin. The broadcast was conducted by the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
He stressed that the technical modernization of the army and navy is one of the priority areas within the framework of the new large-scale and long-term armament program.
"We will pay special attention to our nuclear triad. Thus, modern [missile] complexes "Yars" will be delivered to the strategic missile forces, and the aviation component of the strategic nuclear forces will be replenished with modernized Tu-160M missile carriers this year," Putin informed.
Also during the meeting, the president called the special operation fighters the heirs of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
