The Islamic Republic of Iran Zolfaghar, also called Zulfiqar, is a short range ballistic missile (SRBM) system featuring multiple warheads. The missile has a range of 466 miles (770 kilometers) and may be operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard. The Zolfaghar missile existence was made public in September 2016 during a military parade in Tehran.

The Dezful is an improved ballistic missile based upon the Zolfaghar missile developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran under its domestic weapons program. The existence of the Dezful missile was revealed by Iran in February 2019. The missile features a maximum range of 1,000 kilometers with a destructive power, warhead, that is twice as destructive as the one provided to its predecessor.

The Haj Qasem is a ballistic missile with an estimated range of 1,400 kilometers developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran and unveiled in August 2020. The new Medium Range Ballistic Missile (MRBM) was named after the Al Quds commander, Qasem Soleimani, assassinated by the United States of America in January 2020. It is a further evolution of the Zolfaghar tactical ballistic missile introduced within the Islamic Republic of Iran Armed Forces in 2016.
